Schultz (Sony): Our Channels will Receive Local and Regional Support
Searching for a strategic effort to provide with a higher local support for its regional channels, Sony Pictures Television’s (SPT) executive vice president and managing director for Latin America T.C. Schultz announced that Alberto Niccolo has been appointed senior vice president and managing director for Brazil. His work as channel supervisor in that country will complement the job of Klaudia Bermudez-Key, present senior vice president and general manager for Latin America.
“Our business’ realignment with two talented executives as Klaudia and Niccoli, guarantees that our signals will receive the necessary local and regional support to continue to reap success in Latin America and Brazil,” said Schultz.
On his part, Niccoli will supervise all the SPT television channels in Brazil, including Sony Entertainment Television, AXN and Animax. Based in Sao Paulo, he will focus on providing entertaining and appealing channels for that country’s audience, as well as on satisfying the particular needs of local clients. Previously, the executive was advertising sales vice president in Brazil, supervising those channels, including also E!, A&E, Bio, History and MGM.
Bermudez-Key, based in Miami, will continue to manage all the Spanish channels belonging to SPT Networks LatAm, present in 23 countries.
