In this role, Martínez is responsible for leading the overall strategy and execution of the LAMAC partners priorities across Latin America. Martínez was part of the organizing committee that envisioned the formation of LAMAC in 2002, which started out with a handful of members that has now grown to include over 57 networks from 8 of the most powerful media companies in the world. Prior to this role, Martínez served as president and managing director of Discovery Latin America/U.S. Hispanic/Canada. He was responsible for the company's business and operational units for Discovery's 13 real-world entertainment networks in Latin America as well as two U.S. Hispanic networks. During his tenure at Discovery, Martínez helped create a diverse and successful portfolio of networks in Latin America, the Iberian Peninsula and the U.S. Hispanic market. His leadership was instrumental in consolidating the company's flagship network, Discovery Channel, as the leading brand in Latin American factual programming. He is also credited with turning Discovery Kids into a top source of quality programming for young viewers and the #1 preschool network in Latin America, and Discovery Home & Health into the leading lifestyle network channel for women. DLA/USH's 13 combined brands grew to reach 373 million cumulative subscribers in 48 countries and territories and customized in three languages.
Frida Almaraz has more than 16 years of experience in media research, both in Mexico and at a regional level. Since 2016, Frida has been leading LAMAC activities related to research, Analytics and forecasting, at a regional level in Latin America.
Graduated in Business Administration with Masters degree in Marketing. Olga has more than 20 years of experience working for FMCG, Pharmaceutical and Media multinational companies in Latin America, leading research, consumer & market insights, Business/Digital Analytics and Strategy areas and business units. Joined LAMAC in 2018 to develop the industry positioning, analytics and business intelligence projects for Andean Region countries.
Graduated in communications and mass media from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico, Mónica joined LAMAC in 2012. In her role as Project Manager, she coordinates and supervises LAMAC’s projects, events and PR activities. She is also responsible for LAMAC’s administrative and operational functions and provides support to the accounting department.
Graphic designer specialist in marketing management, digital marketing and e-commerce, with more than 16 years of experience in web design and digital media. Since 2013, he is in charge of the digital marketing strategy of the organization, as well as the conceptualization and production of diverse types of digital content.
