FOX Sports secures Copa Libertadores rights until 2022

Fox Sports Latin America renewed for another four seasons -from 2019 to 2022- the multi-platform rights in South America to the Copa Conmebol Libertadores, the most important soccer tournament in the region.

In a press release, the company said that it will offer the largest number of games in the region. In Brazil, 67 matches will be broadcast, including the final, live; while in the rest of South America the channel will broadcast 128 live games and will be the only group that will have the final of the tournament live and exclusive on TV.

“We are very happy to have renewed these rights and continue to offer live, both on TV and streaming and with a unique level of production an international event that puts at the top the passion of soccer,” commented Carlos Martínez, president of Fox Networks Group Latin America.

In addition to the broadcasts of the matches, a team of more than 40 specialists in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Uruguay will provide full coverage of the event through original productions such as “Central Fox”, “Fox Sports Radio “,” Agenda Fox Sports “,” 90 Minutos “and Fox Gol”.
